The first step
Leave with a written diagnostic
The delay depends on the scope: an hour, three hours, a day, a week. You receive a document that prices what your current situation actually costs you, and lays out the plan to get out of it, step by step. It is a deliverable worth having on its own, not a disguised quote — and it is deducted from the project if you start within 30 days.
Why start here
Because starting a project without pricing the problem means buying a solution to a need nobody measured. And because you do not know me yet: written work — an hour or a week, according to scope — tells you far more about how I think than any sales page.
If after reading it you decide to do otherwise, or to do it yourself, the document is yours and still serves you.
What the document contains
The current state
Your tools, your data, what talks to what and what does not. Written to be read by a business owner, not an engineer.
What today costs
Licences paid but unused, hours spent retyping, risks left uncovered. Priced with you, with the calculation method written out.
The plan, by value
What to do, in which order, and what can deliberately be left aside. With an estimate per step.
What I advise against
Often the most useful part. The false good ideas, the tools not to buy, the projects not worth their price.
How it unfolds, according to scope
- 01A one-hour interviewYou describe your business and what is stuck. I ask questions, many of them.
- 02Reviewing what existsYou show what you accept: exports, invoices, screenshots, or a video call — your tools live, and how you actually work. If access to the systems is needed, we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) first.
- 03The writingThe document, in plain language, with the source of every figure.
- 04The debriefOne hour to walk through it together, and you decide what follows — or that nothing does.
Frequently asked
- What does it cost?
- The price depends on how much there is to examine; it is set and stated before we start, never after. It is deducted from the project if that starts within 30 days.
- Do you guarantee the savings you state?
- No — and be wary of anyone who would. What I guarantee is the method: we measure before, we measure after, and we look at the gap. The figures in the document are established with you, from your own data.
- Do we have to give you access to our systems?
- For the diagnostic, you show what you accept: exports, invoices, screenshots, or a video call — your tools live, and how you actually work. To migrate data, the systems have to be shown next. Before any access, we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
- What if the diagnostic concludes there is nothing to do?
- Then that is good news, and you have it in writing. It has happened, and it is well worth the price of the document: you save yourself a pointless project.
A first conversation to see clearly
Thirty minutes to look at your situation together. You leave with a clearer view — and if a written diagnostic makes sense, we talk about it next, with no pressure.
